No. The micro-needles that are used to deliver Orthokine barely break the skin. This is considered a minimally invasive procedure. A topical anesthetic is used to help the patient stay comfortable during the procedure. Sometimes, Orthokine can be delivered via direct injection or cannulas.
Before the blood sample is collected, make sure that you’re hydrated. More serum can be produced when you have enough water in your system. Drink up to a gallon of water the day before the procedure, and limit your alcohol consumption. Follow the treatment plan to make Orthokine therapy work as efficiently as possible for you.
Orthokine therapy can be used for genetic hair loss or thinning for men and women.

Yes. We recommend Orthokine therapy in conjunction with a take home kit involving copper peptide and/or minoxidil. The take home kit is important to continue stimulating your hair follicles to promote healing and encourage hair growth.
Orthokine therapy is used to improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, large pores, dull skin, wrinkles, fine lines and loose skin.
Many people use Orthokine therapy treatments on the décolletage, face and hands. It can also be used to address crepey skin around the knees and elbows. Orthokine has been shown to be a very effective treatment for hair loss too.
Most people treat skin problems with four treatments of Orthokine at bi-weekly intervals.
You might experience some redness or irritation after the treatment. It usually subsides within a day or two. However, there is a very low risk of side effects from this treatment because the compound is made from your own blood.
For hair conditions, you typically see results as your hair begins to grow longer and fuller. You may not notice this happening for several months, though. Orthokine results for skin should start to appear within two weeks of treatment. You’ll continue to see improvements after each subsequent session.
