PRP Hand Rejuvenation

PRP hand rejuvenation uses the healing power of your own body to help revitalize your skin and help tackle the signs of ageing.

The hands are one of the main areas we show our age. No matter how good your makeup or facial appearance, your hands can give you away.

Our advanced PRP skin treatment can help with that.

PRP hand rejuvenation can help reduce the signs of ageing. That includes wrinkles and fine lines, volume depletion, crow’s feet and discolouration.

We have performed over 45,000 successful treatments in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and can use all that experience to help you too.

About PRP for Hands

PRP treatments are well-established and popular because of their minimal impact on the body. There are no chemicals, no surgery, no long recovery and no obvious signs of the treatment.

PRP uses your own blood to help promote healthy skin growth and can reduce the signs of ageing.

As our hands tell the full story about our lives, it’s the one place you need to look good. PRP for hands can help with that.

What Happens During an Appointment?

Appointments will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour and will begin by taking some blood, just like a blood test.

Our team places your blood in a centrifuge which separates the blood into its constituent parts.

Blood plasma floats to the top of the tube, platelet rich plasma stays in the middle and the red blood cells sink to the bottom. This separation enables us to extract the platelet rich plasma for use in your hand.

We add the PRP serum to a microneedler. This microneedler uses tiny needles to introduce the PRP solution into your hand. It’s relatively painless and requires no surgery whatsoever.

The platelets can help similar cell growth and rejuvenate collagen and elastic in your skin, which can cause a tightening and plumping of the skin, offsetting the effects of ageing.

As PRP hand rejuvenation uses no surgery or chemicals, it’s a non-invasive treatment that requires no recovery time and leaves no scars.

The back of the hand may feel tender for a while and may be red, but otherwise, the procedure is invisible and perfectly safe!

What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) for Hands?

Platelet rich plasma uses your own blood for the treatment. Platelet rich plasma includes white blood cells and growth factors that can help stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

Both collagen and elastin help keep the skin supple and elastic, which can help your skin stay younger for longer.

It is this simplicity and the use of your own blood to help your own body that makes PRP hand treatments so popular. The potential for rejuvenation is huge and it’s available right here.

Complementary LED

To ensure maximum recovery and minimum risk, we also provide a complementary LED treatment during PRP treatments.

A special LED light is used throughout the treatment to help minimise the risk of infection and promote healing. We highly rate the effects of both PRP for hands and LED light to help recovery and provide both to our clients in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Frequently Asked Questions

We, and many others, believe that PRP is good for hands. Platelet rich plasma uses your own blood platelets and growth factors which have huge healing potential. By using this in a targeted way, you can help rejuvenate collagen and elastin. Both help keep skin supple and firm, which can help reduce the signs of ageing.
The main advantages of PRP hand rejuvenation are that it uses your own blood to help encourage growth of elastic and collagen in your skin. It requires no surgery, no fillers or medication, no intrusive procedures and no recovery time. PRP can help reduce wrinkles and fine lines, crow’s feed and many other signs of ageing too.
PRP hand rejuvenation is not a permanent fix, but the effects can last between 12-18 months. We’re all different and have different paces of growth and healing, but on average, our experience is that you can reasonably expect the effects to last at least a year before you need another treatment.
The PRP appointment will last between 45 minutes to an hour. The appointment will begin with taking blood, just like a blood test. We’ll then put it through our centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma. We will then reapply the PRP to your hands using a microneedler.

As there is no surgery or use of chemicals or medication, recovery time is instant and you can walk out of your appointment ready to tackle the rest of your day!
We believe PRP hand rejuvenation works. We know for a fact that platelet rich plasma contains lots of growth factors that stimulate cell growth and rejuvenates the body. By using PRP for hands, we’re using your own body’s healing power to help rejuvenate areas that may need a little extra attention.
PRP for hands is non-invasive, non-surgical and is almost universally accessible. However, we cannot treat anyone under 18, or anyone with HIV, AIDS, hepatitis C, blood cancer or skin cancer. We also cannot treat anyone currently taking blood thinners.
We consider PRP for hands to be completely safe, otherwise we wouldn’t offer it as a treatment. It involves no surgery, no fillers or medications, is non-invasive and requires no recovery time. The chances of rejection, allergies or adverse reactions is minimal as it’s your own blood.
There is minimal aftercare required after PRP for hands. As we aren’t using fillers, chemicals or invasive procedures, your body needs minimal recovery time. We would recommend avoiding strong sunlight, strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms and anything that causes your skin to glow or sweat for a few hours after treatment.
We strongly recommend patients check if their PRP provider performing the PRP hair or skin treatment is performed at a minimum by a registered nurse. Registered nurses are trained in patient safety and hygiene protocols.

We also recommend patients confirm if an Australian medical doctor has contributed to the treatment protocols.
