PRF hair loss treatments are a brand new treatment that’s more than the second generation of PRP. It uses similar principles to PRP, where blood is drawn and placed into a centrifuge to separate.
Rather than add anticoagulants like with PRP, platelet rich fibrin is manually separated, along with stem cells and white blood cells, into what’s called a fibrin matrix. Fibrin still contains the growth factors but also more active proteins for a more effective treatment.
The treatment looks and feels just like a PRP hair loss treatment but should have more of an effect.
